Ladyspinedoc Shop: One Year, One Incredible Journey

October 28 marks one full year since the Ladyspinedoc Shop officially launched, and what a year it’s been! From a handful of products to a full-scale operation with a growing team, a warehouse, and a global customer base, this first year has been one wild, wonderful ride.

Here’s a look back at some of the biggest moments that made this year unforgettable.

A Growing Team and a New Home Base

When we launched in October 2024, Ladyspinedoc started with just two core team members (Jenn and me) and a local custom apparel printer. Today, we still partner with that printing company, but we’ve also expanded to print a few designs in-house.

The Ladyspinedoc team has grown to include six incredible women who keep things running smoothly. We outgrew our original workspace and officially moved into a new, larger warehouse, giving our team the space (and sanity) to keep up with increasing demand. It’s where every shirt is folded, every package is prepped, and every idea gets a little more room to grow.

New Ways to Connect: Blog + The Neurotransmitter Newsletter

We didn’t just grow in size, we grew in voice. The Ladyspinedoc Blog launched this year as a new info hub for inspiration, awareness, and storytelling.  

We also launched the Neurotransmitter Newsletter, our weekly dose of updates, medical breakthroughs, new drops, and cool discoveries. Our audience keeps growing, and with open rates north of 25% (well above the industry benchmark for newsletters), it’s clear you’re loving what you read.

Philanthropy With Purpose

Giving back has always been part of Ladyspinedoc’s DNA, and this year, your purchases helped fund real impact. Together, we raised thousands for vital causes, including a record $3,834 for the Glioblastoma Research Organization. Other initiatives supported Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes Foundation, the Brain Trauma Foundation, 360 Eats (via Dr. Beachgem’s Heart of Medicine Crew), and EDS Research. Ongoing fundraising continues for Dr. Potter's mission, Fuck Cancer, and The Aneurysm and AVM Foundation. 

Shop Stats That Blew Our Minds

The numbers over the past year tell their own story, and they’re incredible:

  • 14,000+ orders delivered to date
  • 13,300+ customers served (and growing!)
  • 235+ products launched, from scrub hats to sweats and everything in between.
  • 6 collaboration collections, from fan-favorite pairs with Dr. Beachgem and Scrubhacks to newer launches with Dr. Potter, Dr. Daisy, Dr. Rednam, and Chan Art.
  • Top-selling item of all time: the Ladyspinedoc x Dr. Beachgem Enerjava Tee with 783 units sold and counting.
  • Top customer states: This one was a little surprising! The most Ladyspinedoc customers are in: #1 Texas, #2 California, #3 Florida, and #4 Georgia.
  • Furthest customers: 27 fans in Australia, more than 9,000 miles away!
  • Mobile reigns supreme with 522,000+ mobile sessions, proving our community loves to shop on the go, and on their phone.
  • Most-searched store term: is “cup” with over 600 searches (we get it, because hydration = brain health).
  • 57,000+ site visitors in December was our biggest traffic month ever, likely thanks to holiday shopping!

Looking Ahead: Year Two and Beyond

If year one was about building foundations, year two is about expansion: a new storefront, additional collabs, more causes, and stories worth telling. We’re doubling down on creativity, community, and purpose, with fresh awareness-driven drops and heartfelt ways to give back.
