This limited-edition Glioblastoma Awareness Bracelet is more than beautiful; it’s a handcrafted, heartfelt tribute. Made by Melissa McGee Hendrix of The Nesting Coop and designed in collaboration with Dr. Betsy Grunch, this bracelet honors the life and legacy of their colleague and dear friend, Dr. Ellen Sanders. Dr. Sanders was a beloved physician at the Longstreet Clinic who passed away from glioblastoma in 2023. She was 38 years old. 

Each bracelet features natural gray Map Stone Jasper beads (gray represents Brain Cancer Awareness) and a signature enamel lightning bolt bead – the Ladyspinedoc symbol of resilience and strength. It’s made with durable stretch elastic and no clasp for easy on/off and comfortable everyday wear. It’s sized to fit the average wrist (7 1/4" to 7 3/4").

Only 50 of these limited-edition bracelets were made. Half of all proceeds will be donated to the Glioblastoma Research Organization as a tribute to Dr. Ellen Sanders.
